A
clubnight
held at Crofters Rights
on Saturday 30th July. The event starts at 23:00.
Yes yes Worms, we've been excited about this one for a while! In fact...we can't remember the last time we saw a touring DJ all the way from Havana, Cuba in Bristol...?!
Cami Layé Okún is a Selector/DJ from Cuba inspired by the merged sounds of Africa and Latin America. Her Vinyl sets go beyond this as she collects music from around the world, searching for stories through music with similar organic roots. With her collection spanning the likes of Cuban disco, Afro-Caribbean rarities and tropical Amazonian funky grooves, Cami has played dance floors in Brazil, Mexico, Panama, Finland, Germany, France, Switzerland, UK, Greece, Italy, Netherlands and Belgium.
We simply cannot WAIT to see what records she's going to bring with her for the night!
Worm Soundsystem DJs will be warming up and cooling down the room with their unique blend of Brazilian, Cape Verdean, West African and Global sounds, what more could you ask for?
