Saturday 30th March
The Crofters Rights, Bristol

New EP 'Now Leaving West Feldwood' coming March 28th.

Ellie Bleach narrates a world of peculiar characters. With a penchant for cinematic storytelling, her wry wit and esoteric lyrical style harbours a biting cynicism that examines the strange eccentricities of modern life.

Raised in the seaside commuter town of Southend, Ellie was taught piano by a pet healer at an early age. Crafting an indie-meets-baroque pop sound, her theatrical narratives draw from a rotating cast of lonely misunderstood people that exist within suburbia. Signed to London tastemaker label Sad Club Records, she pulls from the world-building singularity of Ethel Cain mixed with the charismatic showmanship of CMAT – spanning light whimsy to the grandiose.

Performing live as a five-piece band, Ellie’s shared stages with the likes of The Last Dinner Party, Jessica Winter, and Black Country, New Road, performed at Wilderness Festival, Long Division & Belgium’s Sonic City, and played packed out shows at Moth Club, The Windmill, and Shacklewell Arms.

Support comes from BBC Radio 1 as a Future Artist, RadioX as an X-Posure Hot One, 6Music, DIY, The Line of Best Fit and Rodeo, as well as Gigwise and Dork who both named her a 2023 ‘One To Watch’.

Entry requirements: 18+
