Ben Hayes at Crofters Rights

A gig held at Crofters Rights on Thursday 18th April. The event starts at 19:30.

Based in south east London, electronic musician Ben Hayes creates music at the intersection between spiritual jazz, dance music, and experimental electronica. Lacing synthesisers and live instruments with deftly manipulated found sound, he punctuates organic textures with disarmingly lopsided beats, whilst foregrounding the minute beauty in sounds that would otherwise pass us by.

Active in the effervescent south London scene, his work is interwoven into the sound of the area, having produced for Puma Blue, Poppy Ajudha, Oscar Jerome, Maisha, collaborated with Nubya Garcia, Joe Armon-Jones and Maxwell Owin, and remixed Vök, Otzeki, Flamingods and SumoChief.
