Ménades is a punk rock band based in Paris, France. Their name comes from the Maenads, who are feminine mythical figues who would accompany Dionysus (the god of wine) in his celebrations of chaos, drunkenness and all sorts of mythical forces. Ménades are a sweaty demonstration of rage, sung by the powerful voice of a chick, an electrical party played by diabolical musicians. They are the children of the Sex Pistols and Niagara. Ménades just released their second EP « Cramée » in collaboration with the record label Them Say. They are planning a big European tour in 2023.
