---------------------------------------------
Dave Huntriss celebrates the new year with his first headline show since releasing the EP 'Home, Come Home' in 2021. Playing with a full-bodied live band alongside animated visuals by artist Beth Luxton, Dave will perform the EP in full as well as new unreleased songs and one or two old favourites.
With support from Ellie James and her live band, this will be a night of excellent indie rock, pop, and alternative music from Bristol-based songwriters. For fans of The National, Big Thief, Pinegrove, and Frightened Rabbit.

// DAVE HUNTRISS //
Dave Huntriss is a Bristol-based multi-instrumentalist and songwriter known for his involvement with various artists including Nicholson Heal, Hailaker, The Malago Ballroom, and most recently Welsh musician Novo Amor, having toured Europe and North America in 2022 as a member of his live band. Dave has, however, been writing and releasing music alone since his teens, gradually shaping his own brand of honest and melancholic alternative indie songs.
In 2021, Dave released the EP 'Home, Come Home' after almost four years of radio silence to positive reviews from BBC Introducing and BBC Radio Bristol. The EP features fuzz-laden guitars, atmospheric textures, and vast instrumental arrangements that mark a departure from the more delicate, minimal style of his earlier output. Dave spent most of 2022 working on a brand new album that continues in this direction and should start to see the light of day later this year.
// ELLIE JAMES //
Ellie is a singer-songwriter based in Bristol, having found her footing in her home town of Cardiff. Though she has performed in various projects over the years, she has now settled into her own sound as an artist. Her 2022 single 'Uncomfortable' received praise from Tom Robinson on BBC Radio 6 and Huw Stephens on BBC Radio Wales, plus local support from BBC Radio Bristol. Now diving head first into 2023, she is working on new music to release this year.
// BETH LUXTON (visuals) //
Beth is a Bristol-based artist whose work combines painting and animation, exploring the boundaries between the digital and the physical world. She is interested in tactility, familiarity and memories; disassembling and layering forms and piecing them back together.
