Good people of Facebook,
We're throwing a night this month to raise money for the Trussell Trust, a charity which runs a network of food banks across the UK (including here in Bristol).
The Christmas holidays have been a time of celebration and food for most of us, but for those living in poverty or without a roof over their heads, it will have been a time of great difficulty. Outside of London, reports indicate that there are more rough sleepers in Bristol than anywhere else in England.
Last year the Trussell Trust, gave 1,109,309 emergency food supplies to people in crisis, figures which indicates the scale of the issue and the importance of their work.
In aid of their efforts locally and elsewhere in the UK, we've invited back Eglo Records co-founder Alexander Nut, whose set was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our first show with Max Graef & Earl Jeffers. His shows on Rinse FM and NTS continue to play host to a whole load of great artists, which have included label-mate Floating Points, Glenn Astro, KI5, Mr Scruff & more.
We've also enlisted the help of Banoffee Pies, to bring you a whole bakery of vibes ;) The boys have been making waves this year around Bristol and dropping some gems on the label so we look forward to having them.
