"An alliance between two figureheads of underground Japanese psych/pop, the musically promiscuous Kawabata Makoto (most famous for his leadership of the legendary Acid Mothers Temple Official), and Afrirampo's Pikacyu.
Pikacyu's drums pummel, jitter, crash and stumble, but steadfastly refuse to groove. She layers her voice several times, competing with maniacally pitch-shifted versions of herself to bring you what is, in their words, "a story about the cosmic shaman Pikacyu vs the master of the darkness Makoto... including the full love from the universe!!". Makoto attacks his guitar, cloaking himself in reverb to produce a wall-of-sound, alternating between melody and noise."

"Agathe Max, who hails originally from Lyon, is a classically-trained violinist with a varied back catalogue of studio and live work - running the gamut from spectral ambience to stately soundscapes and adept at summoning dreamstates and drama alike. Gareth Turner, meanwhile, maintains a busy schedule performing and recording with Anthroprophh, Big Naturals and his solo double-bass project.
Kuro’s eponymous first outing is an elegantly sprawling and richly textured work of tumult and transcendence."

"A subtle wild improvisation trio formed by raw vocalist Dali de Saint Paul, with Nick Janaway on live laptop sampling, and either Florent Berthaut or Dan Johnson on Drums."
"Working as a trio, explore the interchange of feedback loop between human and machine.
The group start with raw improvisation, voice, percussion and, feeding off each other, offer this for processing/mutilation through the use of computer de/coding. The data is then fired back out into the ‘real’ space were the group intercept it and freely incorporate this into the performance."
