Full-time crypt, part time music venue for experimental gigs in Bristol.
Bristol’s best re-purposed church venue (for others, see Arnos Vale and St Paul’s Church, Southville). This hallowed and truly impressive space has been well used by Cacophonous Sarcophagus (who hosted in Indonesian folk/thrash outfit Senyawa) and Dead Space Chamber Orchestra. St John is a fully functioning church so don’t turn up always expecting live music (except on Sundays….)
