Set It Out & Hot Buttered Soul w/ Marcel Vogel at Dare 2

A clubnight held at Dare to Club on Friday 17th May. The event starts at 22:00.

5 years went by and I'm older, but that same piano loops over and over and over.... To mark the 5th birthday of Set It Out we are collaborating with Hot Buttered Soul to bring one of our favourite selectors on a 6 hour extended tip, Marcel Vogel!

Marcel needs little introduction, the man behind Lumberjacks in Hell brings a heady mix of house, disco and gospel. In our experience great label curators make great dj's and Lumberjacks is nothing if not well curated, with a sting of releases that have received widespread critical acclaim whilst simultaneously filling floors globally since 2010. Under Marcels stewardship Lumberjacks has had a string of well received releases from the likes of Karizma, Rayko, Eddie C, Dan Shake and Rahaan, as well as Marcel's own productions. His widely acclaimed show on Red Light Radio has been a platform for him to showcase his unique Djing style as well as of those signed to Lumberjacks and beyond.

In support we have two of the tightest DJ collectives Bristol has to offer Soulworks Bristol and Worm Disco Club, as well as veteran record collector, Hot Buttered Souls' very own Mike Shawe and Set It Out's benign leader George Oscar. Whilst Marcel takes control upstairs the support will bring an all together heavier affair to our favourite subterranean lair. Expect anything from afro boogie to ragga jungle and everything in between.
