Dialogue X Room 4 Resistance at Dare to Club
Headfirst Editor's Pick

"Returning to the intimacy of Dare to Club on Friday for their last night before a planned (and hopefully brief) hiatus, Dialogue once again hosts a unique and diverse line-up. Nazira - dj brings her emotive, mesmeric sound all the way from Kazakhstan (before playing Berghain on Saturday), LOFT returns to close the dungeon with her brilliantly unpredictable dancefloor prowess, and The Palace International Film Festival will also be screening films throughout the night. ? Tickets: hdfst.uk/E53035"

A clubnight held at Dare to Club on Friday 24th May. The event starts at 23:00.

Really excited to celebrate our 3rd Birthday with all you lovely people. We will be returning to our usual spot for a long night of diverse and exciting techno. This party is a collaboration with one of our favourite Berlin-based collectives, Room 4 Resistance. Last few general release tickets available

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NAZIRA
Nazira is an Almaty-based DJ, host on Radio Cómeme, Resident at Room 4 Resistance as well as promoter within the underground club scene in Kazakhstan. So excited to welcome her to Bristol to close the main room before her set at Berghain the following night.

LUZ
Belgian born and Berlin-based DJ, Luz is the founder of Room 4 Resistance - a queer femme forward collective focused on community-building and creating safer space & visibility for underrepresented artists in dance music. R4R runs parties at ://about blank, curates panels and workshops to promote women, gender queers, non-binaries, trans, black and POC artists - to explore the political dimensions of the dance floor and create bridges between different communities.

LOFT
LOFT (aka. loft_aya aka. yungChickP aka. your aunt that got embarrassingly drunk at Easter) is a lil alien girl that was beamed down onto the Pennines and has now taken residence in Manchester. Her work is primarily concerned with the transfigurative power of experience and memory on the physical body. She holds association with Astral Plane Recordings and Wisdom Teeth through the distribution of her recorded works (i.e. Turbulent Dynamics, Turn My Built Dances and Three Settlements Four Ways). Her favourite drum break is James Brown's Get Out Of My Life Woman (gross name) and her fighting style is the dance routine from the warehouse scene in Footloose.

DJ WORKSHOP
Before our party, Room 4 Resistance are running a free DJ workshop at our studio in The Island for women, trans and non-binary folks. Very limited spaces and primarily for ticket holders but donations welcome to help us cover the cost if you can't make it ❤️ Contact [email protected] for more info and to book a space. X

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As usual we have a strict safe space policy. Please read carefully:
We endeavour to create a safe and inclusive environment for all partygoers, regardless of race, gender, sexuality and ability. If you are made to feel uncomfortable at any point during the night please let one of us or security know. There will be someone at the door and others around the venue and we will try to rectify any problems, including ejecting people who are behaving inappropriately.

Low income
Once again we are offering a low income list for those who genuinely cannot afford to come/ are on benefits. We run our parties at break even and put any profit (or losses) back into artist bookings/sound systems/decor etc so please respect this and leave the spaces for those who need it. Give us an email if this reduced cost would genuinely allow you to come - [email protected]

Accessibility
Unfortunately most of the venue is not wheelchair accessible; however, the main room can be accessed with manual wheelchairs up one or two small stairs and the Dialogue crew are more than happy to help in any way we can. Please contact us for more info if needed.

Safe Travel
We have allocated some of our budget to ensure that everyone gets to and from the venue safely. If you feel unsafe and need any assistance with the cost of taxis, please get in touch and we will make the necessary arrangements to help organise your travel.
