When Scott Garcia dropped ‘A London Thing’ back in 1997, ravers around the country were outraged by his attempt to claim the UK garage sound as belonging to London alone. Fast forward a couple of decades, and the Capital of the UK Underground Scene is no longer in dispute. Without question, Bristol wears the crown.
