LARPgarden: LOOSE AUDIO RIDDLE PARTY at Dareshack
See event details

A event held at Dareshack on Saturday 6th May. The event starts at 11:30.

TWO DAY WORKSHOP IN SONIC FANTASY AND STORY TELLING
SATURDAY 6TH MAY & SUNDAY 7TH MAY.
DAY1 Dareshack
DAY2 shall begin at the old military bunkers in Hotwells and ends up at Dareshack.

Biped's workshop spans 2 days: Both of them mixing storytelling, play with sound & musical improvisation, chance processes and feedback loops of stimulus & ideas. Through sound we'll bubble at the thin line between how we project myth and fiction onto happenings, and how we can amplify and re-tell lived experience.

DAY 1: We'll work out potential symbolisms of sound using acoustic objects and simple electronics. These symbolisms unfold as we relate them to stories made intentionally accidentally, developing closer attention to personal and group subconscious, and breaking down habits in playing and composing.

DAY 2: With perceptual sensitivity and ambient responsibility / atmospheric agency piqued, we will go into the city to make live guerrilla soundtracks and summon events.

|| ACCESS DETAILS ||
DAY 1 Dareshack is wheelchair accessible, but unfortunately, Dareshack is not at street level, so a ramp will be provided. To minimise wait, feel free to call before or upon arrival so we can get it ready for your visit. Dogs and assistance dogs are welcome.

DAY 2 involves walking / moving throughout the city, and access to bunkers requires a few muddy steps.
