Not-for-profit art collective Dirty Spread kicks off their monthly residency at Dareshack by showcasing a group of visual artists live painting in front of an audience.
'We are incorporating audience participation to encourage creative freedom throughout the room by providing materials to artists and audience alike; U Paint I Paint (if you would like to). Platforming visual artists within this setting is important to us as painters are not often provided with this visibility. This environment will also allow the audience to experience a more intimate viewing of artwork during its developmental stages which is not something usually prioritised.'
