SPC Community Drop-in Session

Taking place from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at Docklands Community Centre 29 Brigstocke Rd, St Paul's, Bristol BS2 8UA.
This event will introduce the governance and stewardship role of St Pauls Carnival CIC as we begin recruiting new people to help shape the organisation's future, support Carnival 365 activity, and contribute to the journey towards Carnival 2027 and the 60th anniversary in 2028.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about three different ways to get involved:

* The Board of Directors, which provides strategic leadership and governance for the organisation and is seeking individuals with skills in areas such as finance, commercial development, fundraising, and organisational leadership.
* The Community Advisory Board, which will ensure community voices, cultural knowledge, and lived experience help inform the development of Carnival, including planning for Carnival 2027 and future celebrations.
* The Carnival Ambassadors Network, a group of community champions who will help connect Carnival with local communities, encourage participation, and support engagement across Bristol and beyond.

Whether you are interested in a formal leadership role, sharing your community expertise, or helping to champion Carnival within your networks, this session will provide an opportunity to find out more, ask questions, and speak with members of the team.
