Community involvement
This meeting is part of an ongoing conversation. We want to better understand:
- what Carnival means to different parts of our community
- how people would like to be involved in shaping its future
- what matters most as we plan responsibly, sustainably and inclusively
There will be space to listen, reflect and share ideas — this is not about final decisions, but about opening up the process.
New project announcement – capturing Carnival stories
We’ll also be announcing a new project focused on capturing the stories, memories and experiences of Carnival.
These stories will help:
- inform the creative direction of Carnival 2026
- preserve community history and cultural legacy
- shape future Carnivals beyond 2026
The project will invite people to share their experiences of Carnival in different ways, with more details shared at the meeting.
Who should attend
This meeting is open to:
- community members
- artists and creatives
- volunteers and partners
- anyone with an interest in the past, present and future of St Paul’s Carnival
Whether you’ve been involved for decades or are engaging for the first time, your voice is welcome.
