A event held at DOCUMENT on Saturday 13th July. The event starts at 12:30.
A fun, creative workshop suitable for any level.
In this workshop we will use various techniques such as painting, mark making and collage to create fabric designs.
Using Heat Transfer Dyes we can create vibrant designs on paper. We then use a heat press to print the fabric - ready and colour fast in 60 seconds!!
All materials are provided but you are welcome to bring your own but please see guidance notes below for suitability*.
This workshop is really fun and experimenting is encouraged. Many students have never printed before so don't be put off.
Biscuits and refreshments are provided.
Access is up 1 flight of stairs at the Document Studios.
* light coloured, synthetic fabrics work best such as polyester, nylon and lycra. Polycotton also works but isn't as vibrant.
Entry requirements: 14+, any under 18s accompanied by 21+ adult 1:1 ratio
