DANCE BATH at Easton Community Centre (BS5)
See event details

A event on Tomorrow. The event starts at 19:00.

We’re back for a substance-free, free-movement dance followed by a sound bath to hug and land our nervous systems. We'll begin with a grounding meditation, slowly wake up our limbs, build up to reach maximum f!ck it release, and come back down into a soft close. You can think of it like a wave. Holding the space are Lexx on the decks and Dunya on the sound bath.

THE VIBE

This is a Queer-led event for everybody to join. You don't need to have any dance experience. Actually, the less technical you can be, the better. You choose how you dance and you can't get it wrong.

The lighting in the space is soft and warm, with a few chairs and blankets dotted around. There's a seasonal soft drink you can help yourselves to on arrival.

Always get verbal or non-verbal consent before if you want to touch someone else in your dancing. This is an acceptance-led space - no discrimination on the grounds of race, sexuality, gender, disability or age will be tolerated.

THE SCHEDULE

Arrive by 18:55 at the LATEST. Doors close and we dive in at 19:00. If you can only attend in part, please email me on [email protected].

• 18:45-19:00: Arrivals in the foyer area.
• 19:00-20:20: Opening meditation + dance.
• 20:20-21:00: Sound bath.
