Join us for a special screening of the award-winning Black British comedy Rye Lane followed by a panel discussion on Friday 31st May at Easton Community Centre, Bristol.

This event is brought to you by 'JOY Trail' an educational project that promotes Black Joy in local schools in conjunction with community partners Come The Revolution, Eastside Community Trust, DET Entertainment and Creative Connex CIC.

What's on the agenda?
• 7pm: Doors open and refreshments Mingle with fellow movie fans and get ready for a night of laughter!
• 7.30pm: Screening of Rye Lane, as romance blossoms between a pair navigating life, love, and laughter in London
• 9pm: Panel discussion featuring local Black creatives, educators, and community leaders. Dig deep into the film's themes, explore the importance of Black joy, and discuss how we can cultivate it in our communities. There will be a special poetry reading.
• 9.45pm: Event ends
