A
event
on Monday 19th May. The event starts at 18:00.
Pamela is a journalist, broadcaster and activist who believes we need messages of hope and inspiration to surf the challenges of modern life. She has worked on investigative journalism stories in India, Thailand, Bangladesh and Indonesia for outlets like the Guardian, the Observer, and many more.
Following devastating work-related health issues, she was faced with the possibility of losing her home. As a single, pre menopausal, working class woman, the solution was obvious...live overseas in India (and later Malaysia)...for almost two decades 'Faced with losing everything, I knew I had to take drastic action to save my own life. It was the best choice I could have made'.
Pamela will share :
How life challenges can help you unlock your inner potential
How being a single woman can be the best way to travel
The unexpected benefits of living overseas
The importance of having a Plan B
The vital role of activism, meaningful action, compassion and a moral baseline
Have a Q&A with Pamela at the end
** Please note that this event is open to individuals who identify as women and non-binary people who feel this event will benefit them.
