Dance My Daughter traces how women across Mozambique use movement, music and storytelling as part of everyday life, followed by a Q&A with Boswall and Afrofusion artist/activist MoYah + traditional Ethiopian dinner available from Ababo’s Cuisine."

From Bristol Link with Beira Fundraiser, collaborating with Afrika Eye,
'Dance My Daughter' is a production by award-winning filmmaker Karen Boswall. The film documents the lived experiences of Women and Girls from North & South Mozambique, capturing their relationship with the land, their families and communities through the mediums of dance and music.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with Director Karen Boswall and Mozambique-born Afro-fusion rapper, activist, and creative producer MoYah.

The evening is also a fundraiser for Bristol Link with Beira, a local twin-cities charity that will raise funds to support projects for Mozambican women and girls in Beira and the wider Sofala Province.

Ababo's Ethiopian cuisine will be providing catering for the evening. *not included in ticket price.



Entry requirements: no age restrictions (under 18s to be accompanied by an adult over 21yrs, 1:1 ratio)
