See event details

A event on Saturday 21st March. The event starts at 10:30.

Join us on Saturday 21st March for an introductory foraging walk for beginners, meeting some of the wonderful plants that live around Eastville Park Lake!

This walk will draw focus to six selected plant species: Hawthorn, Elder, Oak, Wild Garlic, Cleavers, and Nettles. It will be a sensory-based walk with a focus on collective skills sharing and building familiarity with the natural world around us. The space will be held by Jess Meanwell, a young nature enthusiast and member of the Bristol Tree Craft community.

All are welcome, including little ones! No need to have previous experience with foraging.

• Timings: 10:30am - 12:00pm. Feel free to arrive at the meeting location from 10:15am.
• What to bring: sturdy shoes, weather appropriate clothing, water, plant ID guides (optional), foraging pouch (optional), an open and curious mind :)

This workshop is completely free to attend! Spaces are limited, so please only book a ticket if you will be able to attend the workshop. Further details, including the exact meeting location will be shared over email following booking.
