See event details

A event on Sunday 28th April. The event starts at 15:00.

ABOUT THE EVENT:

NETWORKING 15:00 - 16:45
MUSIC 16:45 - 19:00

Safe&Sound is an event where you can mix with like-minded musicians and creatives and create new opportunities. We want this to be a comfortable place for newbies or anyone struggling with social settings to widen their network! The first half of this event will be about meeting new people, chatting about your projects, making friends, and hopefully taking numbers! The event's second half will be acoustic performances from three very talented songwriters!

We expect a crowd of musicians, singers, producers, graphic designers, photographers, videographers, writers, music fans, approachable people, and generally just people that are fun and welcoming to be around! If that's you then come and be part of the cause!

PERFORMING ARTISTS:

SCARLETT LORAN

Scarlett Loran is a 21-year-old singer songwriter from Bath. The raw honesty in her voice allows listeners to harken back to the sincerity of traditional folk, supported by a modern production. Scarlett's emotive style of writing reflects a wide range of influences including Bon Iver, Daughter and Sigur Ros.

IZZY AUTY-DAWE

CHRIS VOX

All profits from the event go to Music Minds Matter - donations at the event also encouraged.

ABOUT THE CAUSE:

Music Minds Matter is Help Musicians' dedicated mental health service, providing support for the whole UK music community.

If you work in music and are struggling to cope, the Music Minds Matter phone line is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week; it doesn’t have to be a crisis, or about music. Music Minds Matter will connect you with an accredited counsellor who can offer emotional support, advice and information. Where appropriate, they may also signpost to other specialist services, offer debt and legal advice as well as access to further support from Help Musicians.

Call Music Minds Matter: 0808 802 8008.
