Famed for their destructive distortions and crushing overdrive modules/pedals, Animal Factory Amplification have been pushing the envelope in texture and tone since 2013 and after 13 years of powerful processing they've FINALLY turned their minds to the world of sound creation.

Designed in collaboration with Kolkata artist and music technologist Sanjay Das/Philtersoup, this project explores what a modern Indian synth can sound like – beautiful, vibrant and terrifying all at once. Philtersoup's work spans performance, collaborative audio installation, software development, media production, composition and now - synth design.

We can't give much away, but we can reveal it's called Asura and given AFA's pedigree it's going to be an absolute MONSTER. As for the shape, size and (most importantly) SOUND of this beast... you'll have to come by and find out for yourself.

They'll be in the shop from 3pm for you to get hands-on for yourself, and at 6pm they'll be giving a demo/presentation - showing off the wide range of sounds Asura is capable of.
