A
gig
held at The Elmgrove Centre
on Friday 19th September. The event starts at 19:30.
Please contact us at wilderbeatscollective[@]gmail.com if you have any questions about the event/ accessibility.
After three successful events, raising almost £1500 for charity, we're back for round 4!
This time we're raising money to allow us to continue putting these events on in future, and to organise them further in advance, so that the organisers aren't all out of pocket for months each time!
Our events have received rave reviews, and we're hearing strangers on the bus talking (positively) about them now, so what other reviews do you need? Grab your ticket while sales last to avoid disappointment!
Have you ever heard of a capercaillie*? What about a "Caper Ceilidh"?! Our Caper Ceilidhs are a ceilidhs (traditional folk music and dance events) raising money for rewilding and other conservation charities around the UK.
Come and join us for a fantastic evening of energetic folk music and dancing, with one of the best ceilidh bands around - Fitty Gomash!
If you've never been to a ceilidh before, don't worry! There will be a caller on hand to tell you all the steps.
Fancy dress as your favourite native wildlife is non-compulsory but very much encouraged! However, bear in mind that riotous ceilidh dancing means that you will want to keep layers and extra potentially-eye-gouging-apendages to a minimum.
Trainers/ comfortable shoes are highly recommended!
In addition to the ceilidh, there will be a bar, accessible toilets (the venue is wheelchair accessible), and separated indoor seating areas for when you need a break.
*PLEASE DON'T ATTEND IF YOU HAVE CORONAVIRUS (OR ANY OTHER VIRAL) SYMPTOMS! Let's look after each other and the planet*
