Push and play with your approach to observational drawing in this exciting new, laid-back class. You'll be encouraged to loosen your drawing habits with short poses and alternative mark making tools, as well as longer poses to strengthen your awareness of the human body.
This fortnightly class is welcome to everyone; beginners to professionals, and you're welcome to partake in the more experimental ideas as you please.
-Supply of easels / drawing boards (limited)
-Informal guidance / ideas from various artist hosts (If you want it)
-Full model view
-Drawing materials & Tools (limited)
-Poses: full range from 10 seconds to 20 minutes
-Additional props may be proposed, and group votes cast to their use
-Hot drinks and refreshments available. The space is chilly, please bring a mug and a hot water bottle for your own comfort!
-Models will change throughout the series

Estate of the Arts is a multi-use arts space in South Bristol, comprising of over 25 creative workspaces around a huge industrial estate. Due to the industrial structure of the building, the warehouse foyer is cold in the Autumn/Winter, so please do wrap up warm.
