Eat Up For Starters: “Loops I did it again…” at Exchange

A event held at Exchange on Friday 10th March. The event starts at 12:30.

An introduction to loop pedals with DIY electronic artist Mogan. This workshop will explore how to use loop pedals in conventional and unconventional ways to create effective, layered compositions in a live or recorded setting. Starting from the very basics to more experimental approaches - this is for anyone that wants to get hands-on experience before taking the plunge into looping. Bring Your Own Instrument (optional - let us know if you want to borrow one)

Mogan combines melancholic vocals and brooding atmospheres with brash, chunky synths to create songs that are both texturally abrasive and at times strikingly sparse. Their live shows bring a sense of theatrics with costume and compelling performances. They've supported the likes of Grove, Julia-Sophie, Panic Shack and Comfort.
