Noods Radio: Shy One, MJK & Big Murk at Exchange
Headfirst Editor's Pick

"Noods deliver a triple combo club knockout with Shy One’s peerlessly upful UKF/acid/boogie, Rinse FM’s 3 deck slicing 140 wunderkid MJK and Big Murk’s melting-pot fusions of Arabic rap and UK bass culture. A killer blow to the tunnel-vision BPM police."

SHY ONE – 01:30
BIG MURK – 00:30
MJK – 23:00

Noods welcomes three heavy hitting DJ’s to cultural institution The Exchange for an evening of forward thinking dance music. Shy One, MJK and Big Murk all come together, bringing their own unique take on all things bass orientated, techno, house and more. This is not one to miss.

Shy One
Shy One lives and breathes the eclecticism and diversity of her DJ sets and productions. Having started off DJing on pirate radio as a teenager, Shy One has been exposed to and influenced by the full spectrum of sounds her hometown of London has birthed and nurtured over the years. Expect a range of sounds from Deep House, to rough Techno cuts and forward thinking UK flavours.

MJK
Threading the lines between dubstep, grime and techno, inspired by the likes of Skee Mask and DJ Bone, MJK has carved a name for himself as a DJ you will remember. Be it his constant three-deck mixing or the enviable way he locks in a tune without having to touch the jog wheel thereafter, MJK will keep you on your toes throughout.

Big Murk
Big Murk is an independent Palestinian-Jordanian producer, drummer and MC based between Amman and Bristol. Murk grafts the sound of his childhood vernacular onto UK grime’s skittering drum patterns, all carefully reinforced with his characteristic fat, calculated basslines, delivering his DJ and hybrid Live sets as a quirky melting pot, chopping up grime, breaks, techno, UKG, electro, and GQOM into a chunky stew sprinkled liberally with his own productions.

Clubnights at Exchange are strictly 18+ adults only.
