A
clubnight
held at Exchange
on Friday 19th April. The event starts at 23:00.
To celebrate 1 year of CLUBCØRTEX, we’re inviting Shall Not Fade, RAW and Feel My Bicep alumnus Pagan for their Bristol debut, taking the reins with their unique fusion of trance, breakbeat, Eurodance and techno.
After a breakout year in 2021 with the release of his ‘Wash Away Our Fears’ and ‘Butterfly’ EPs, Pagan has continued crafting his own path as one of Ireland’s most exciting talents. While punters have certainly taken notice of the producer’s initial offerings with sold-out shows across the UK and Ireland, some of the industry’s biggest names have also recognised Pagan’s talent both in the studio and the DJ booth. DJ’s like TSHA, Prospa, DJ Heartstring, X-Coast and more are regularly playing Pagan tracks in clubs and on the radio, while dance music titans Bicep rewarded the DJ/Producer with a guest mix on their ‘Feel My Bicep’ mixtape series. Since the re-opening of clubs in Ireland, Pagan has been a regular feature in DJ booths across the country, with festival slots at Otherside, Life, and Electric Picnic cementing him as a crowd favourite in his home country. 2024 is set to be Pagan’s most prolific year yet, with a release on Bristol’s very own Shall Not Fade and a tour in India already under his belt.
Joining Pagan on support duties, we have local legend GIA. Inspired by the euphoric beats of early trance and rave from her childhood, GIA's music carries a nostalgic charm that has captivated audiences around the globe. Following an Ibiza residency in 2023, GIA has returned to her hometown of Bristol as a Motion resident, playing alongside Ben Hemsley, Paul Van Dyk and Pete Tong.
Opening the night will be Flat 7 frontman edetto. Born and raised in Bristol, he’s been pushing his drum-driven, industrial sound he refers to as ‘proper Bristolian techno’ through his record label and event series. Following a peak-time mainstage set at Boomtown in 2022, edetto has cemented himself as an inescapable name on the Bristol circuit.
