Choir of the Sun with Opalites and Wolfgang Ayrton at Exchange
See event details

A gig held at Exchange on Friday 19th January. The event starts at 19:30.

Choir of the Sun are an up and coming doom metal band out of Bristol. Their mountainous riffs evoke influences from of Kyus, Black Sabbath, and Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs. Their frontman helps tie together the ruthless sound with an almost mythic aesthetic; a stage show influenced by folk law and religion. Certainly a band you don’t wanna miss.

Opalites [ oh-pal-ite-s ;) ] are a indie-grunge 3 piece from Bournemouth.
They’ve been shaking up the south coast scene with their angsty
originals, with a modern take on 90s grunge.
Hot off the success of their Radio 1 debut, the emerging band are
bringing girls to the front - on stage and in the pit.
