Racehorse
Racehorse are a Bristol based melodic punk three piece, splitting the difference between Dag Nasty, Jawbreaker, Hot Water Music, The Draft and Government Issue. They are best described as loud, but sad. A frequent of fixture of the Bristol underground punk scene, Racehorse have supported acts ranging from Mallavora and Lakes to Wych Elm, and are working on their first record with Danny Guy of Hellbastard/Peruvian Necktie at his recording studio in Bristol. Expect volume, melodic hooks couched in overdriven guitars, and a vocal tag team from singer/guitarist Omar Ramlugon and bassist/singer Harry Wood.
We Are The Weirdos
We Are The Weirdos are a counter culture music project, lead by Hope Parry. showing her main influences of Punk and Pop Punk on a surface level, a deeper dive into the band shows a much wider musical pallet with inspiration coming from pop, indie, electronic and theatre. Starting in early 2023 with Hope writing deep, emotional music, just for her, it slowly expanded into the full project which now exists. Bringing a new meaning to DIY with everything being done by herself, she uses her live shows as both a means to express her, and to stand up and speak about important matters which she feels strongly about.
We Are The Weirdos pride themselves on never being afraid of saying what needs to be said, and taking chances, making their live debut on a busking stage at 2000 Trees 2023 when another act had to cancel and they saw their chance and took it. So far We Are The Weirdos have gotten to grace the stage with the likes of Jacob Reddy, Pale Sailor, The Sewer Cat, The Latchkey Kids, and Comeback Clit.
Wearing their Inspirations proudly, We Are The Weirdos are for fans of : Against Me!, The Wonder Years, and Holding Absence
Vulgaris
Forming in 2017, Vulgaris have been blazing a trail through the London underground metal scene with their fierce fusion of black, sludge, thrash and other extreme metal styles. They have followed up debut album Asundre with their newly released sophomore effort Seat Of The Fire, coming courtesy of WormHoleDeath Records. The band draw upon an array of influences including the likes of Enslaved, Gojira, Regarde Les Hommes Tomber, Sylosis and Conjurer, and have shared stages with the likes of Conjurer, Allfather, Tumanduumband and Beyond Grace.
