Break The Night W/ Ben Sleia, Busby+, Lew Fras at Exchange

A clubnight held at Exchange on Friday 22nd September. The event starts at 23:00.

After years spent in dinghy warehouses and clubs, Ben Sleia’s got a raver’s sensibility and an intuitive touch of what it takes to make a crowd feel. Following regular sets at Liverpool institution 24 Kitchen Street, as well as residencies on community radio stations Melodic Distraction Radio and Refuge Worldwide in Berlin with her show Bruits, she caught the eye of curators at FOLD, Daisychain. She regularly plays in the UK and in Berlin, where she is based, showcasing a sound on the tastefully harsh left side, with a bent for the UK-centric: techno, electro, breaks, dubstep, hardcore, and jungle.

Meet Busby+. A distinguished curator weaving seamless grooves and crafting euphoric energy throughout every set. Co-creator of the legendary DIY event series, Strictly Yes, Busby+ is no stranger to raising the pulse of the Bristol scene.

Co-founder of Break The Night, Lew Fras joins the party, Lewis’s style can be only described as diverse. Whether it’s mixing electro, techno, breaks, prog and trance. His sets are always high energy and packed with sounds of the underground dance scene spanning over the last few decades. After making the switch to vinyl over the past 2 years, his collection has grown and is now something extraordinary. Lewis has been constantly pushing himself to develop his style and create sets that truly reflect the sound he’s striving for.
