With The Violet Crazies

Carniepunks channel the spirits of the scuzzed-up post-punk of bands such as The Birthday Party, Killing Joke, and Bauhaus along with the deranged psychedelic blues of Dr John the Night Tripper in his Atco period.

Their sound is built on tribal beats, loud guitars, wailing harmonicas, screams and croons all delivered with a tincture of dread as befits these dystopian times.

In previous years members of Carniepunks have shared bills and stages with luminaries such as Radiohead, P.J. Harvey, The Manic Street Preachers and Gallon Drunk to name just a few.

New double A side single, ‘She’s in League with’ /’Self Possession’ coming to all the usual streaming sites soon.
