After a wild first night in March with DJ Ramemes, Baile do Futuro comes back to the Exchange for its first “Summer” installment with a STACKED lineup:
The Queen of Sapafunk (Lesbian baile funk), MC MARIE touches down in Bristol for her first UK appearance, bringing a live set filled with flaming hot songs to make your heart melt and your booty shake. Born and raised in Rio, the lesbian singer, songwriter and multidisciplinary artist has curated a very special show that promises to be a 1 of 1 experience - and definetely a first in Bristolian history.
ADAME, the house favorite producer and DJ from Espirito Santo, is known throughout Brazil for his singular productions that mix Baile Funk and electronic genres like gabber, techno, and acid. The prolific producer and Ableton wizard comes for his first European Tour and will land in Bristol for his very first gig abroad. With countless releases in a somewhat short career, Adame is always weaving together mindblowing sounds to provide the ultimate “funk rave” experience.
From the East Zone of Sao Paulo, DAZLBØY joins the crew with his uniquely fresh style that ranges from Brega to Bruxaria. That’s RANGE! The ever-adored queer babe joins us for his Bristol debut and promises to leave no stone unturned on his premiere.
From Belo Horizonte, SZAL joins Baile do Futuro for the second time after his amazing debut in March. Slow, fast, wonky, none of that matters when it comes to music for Szal. His open format style of play touches on all corners of Baile Funk and will make even the stiffest hips move relentlessly.
From Parana, the Bristol-based baile funk trailblazer GUS completes this mad entourage. Known for his peculiar approach to baile funk, the Noods and Radio Raheem resident will make sure this night will also be a weird one for all the weird souls out there.
