What a journey the past two years have been!

We Need Bands was initially a throwaway brand, for a short run of four shows in the post-lockdown Summer of 2021, but has grown to be "a staple of the local music scene" (Bristol Gig Guide). Eighty-Seven events later, we celebrate our second birthday, with a takeover of Exchange.

Featuring eight acts across two stages (no clashes!), it was impossible to fit all of our favourite bands onto the line up, but we've assembled some of the bands we've most enjoyed working with: Epimetheus (MicroDog 2023 winners), Land Captains (Underdog 2022 winners), Dead Rubber Dolls, HAGA, The Cement Garden, and Buffalo Brothers. We also have two bands (who came very highly recommended) making their WNB debut - Adam & The Hellcats and We Be Villains.
