Hailing from the Netherlands of Amsterdam, Doctor Velvet play the last stint of their UK tour in the tropics of Old Market, Bristol. We are going to show them a proper good time with Bristol musical stylings from the likes of Trans Siberian Express, The Clangers and The Scuttlers.
Doctor Velvet: a taste of Dutch rhythm and blues, Doctor Velvet is an Amsterdam based band that just released their debut album, ‘NEW BREED’, and are bringing it to the UK for your ears and eyes to come and enjoy. They’re old school rock and roll, you’ll love it. (ROCK N ROLL)
Trans-Siberian Express: we know em, we love em. TSE have a gift at getting those hips a shaking. Known commonly as the splurge pop party starters. They’re a magnetically odd 6 piece that aren’t afraid to get a didgeridoo out. (SPLURGE POP)
The Clangers: self proclaimed long haired posers that bring nothing but energy and sweat (in a good way). The Clangers so eloquently described their sound as “imagine the sound of a brick in a washing machine”. (PSYCH ROCK)
The Scuttlers: drama, confusion, theatrics, encore. The Scuttlers are a performance with an eccentric lead whose movements are completely unpredictable. Come and see it, I can’t explain it. (ALT ROCK/ NEW WAVE?)
