New York City electronic trio, Public Circuit, dismantles and reassembles post-punk with surgical precision. Gone is any pretence of retro revivalism. What remains is something sharper, darker, and entirely their own. Their latest record, Modern Church, dances in the flicker of candlelight and fluorescent glare alike, translating the constant noise-feed and bustling attitudes of NYC into a no-fat, all-electronic synth muscle.
