City of the Sun at Exchange

A gig held at Exchange on Monday 9th December. The event starts at 20:00.

New York City’s powerhouse trio City of the Sun have redefined the meaning of instrumental music over the course of their eight-year career. Guitarists John Pita and Avi Snow, along with percussionist Zach Para produce an intoxicating mix of experimental, indie rock, flamenco, blues and American folk that bursts through the confines of a single category.

Selling out top New York venues, including the Bowery Ballroom and Gramercy Theatre, as well as touring with the likes of Peter Bjorn & John, G.Love, STS9, and Thievery Corporation, the band have now gained over 70 million plays on Spotify alone. Let the “raw energy” (Billboard) of their live show help transcend you to another world at The Exchange.
