Danny Mellin
With The Rogues and Tokyo Toy Company
Danny Mellin is a rising star in the Indie Rock scene, known for his distinctive sound and high-energy performances. He developed a love for songwriting at an early age and has since become passionate about playing live. And now, Danny and his band bring an infectious energy to the stage that “people can immediately chime with” (Dave Gilyeat, BBC Introducing Oxfordshire & Berkshire).
Over the last year, Danny has achieved great success with two sold-out UK headline tours and support slots for established indie acts like Sundara Karma. He also played his first European show in Paris, opening for The Sherlocks. Danny's latest EP, 'Where Did The Time Go?', released in February, has been well-received critically and commercially, with his songs about hometown relatability striking a chord with his fans.
Blogs like Boot Music have praised Danny's music for his “blend of fast-paced, down-to-earth lyrics and slick indie beats”. The Pentatonic has called his latest offerings a "testament to the artist's unstoppable momentum". With more headline shows planned for the autumn, Danny is set to continue winning over audiences with his honest reflections on the trials and tribulations of young adulthood, and his celebration of a good time.
