Special one off show at The Exchange with the formidable digging crew… Discodelic!

The full Discodelic crew will be in attendance (Ruffy, Majoo & Miles) so if you’re into sounds from Latin America, digging or dancing, then you don’t want to miss this rare UK appearance!

Discodelic, a record shop turned music label in San Francisco, co-owned by Ruben "Ruffy" Rangel, Maria Jose "Majoo" Salguero, and Miles Ake, which specialises in rare and soulful genres from Central America and the Caribbean. Their unique curation, described as "vinyl discs from other dimensions," reflects their passion for discovering and preserving lost music.

For many years Discodelic have been traveling the world, searching and unearthing forgotten musical gems from Latin America & the Caribbean beyond compare.

In 2020 they began loving releasing official reissues of some of the incredible music they have found. Taking great effort in giving these tunes a second chance, songs full of potential that fell by the wayside, didn’t manage to be a hit in their home country, came out as very limited pressing. (Check them out on their bandcamp).

The crew also curates the Latinos Con Soul festival, an international celebration of Latin music and culture through vinyl. The festival, which began in Mexico City in 2018, has grown significantly, featuring a diverse lineup of DJs and artists from across the globe, with highlights including Joe Bataan and Ralph Weeks!
