That’s right - Hot Buttered Soul & Bodywork unite to bring a blaze of soulful music to Exchange, Old Market, on Sat 22nd March.
Mike Shawe & Nick Bodywork will be dialling up the thermostat with Disco infernos, Afro heatwaves, Latin sizzlers, Brazilian grooves, and a molten mix of House, Boogie, Electro, and beefed-up edits.
We’ve also lined up a scorcher of a guest DJ - vinyl digger Beavs. Rising through the radio ranks via Void, Loose FM, and Noods, before launching the Funk Electric collective, she’ll be delivering red-hot selections to keep the dancefloor burning.
Feel the pure warmth radiating from an Analogue Rotary Mixer, running through Exchange’s impeccable L’Acoustic speakers. Hearing vinyl on an organic setup like this echoes the energy of the earliest club nights, where sound was rich, raw, and built for the dancefloor.
