Starting his DJ career in 1995 with what is now old skool (but was just new at the
time), BCee fell in love with the sound of musical Drum & Bass in 2001. Teaming up with Kubiks, the duo went on to launch Rubik Records in 2002 with their debut
production'Life Changes'. In 2005 he teamed up with Lomax and together they released some 30+ tracks across labels such as Innerground, Fokuz, Nu:Directions
and of course Spearhead Records.
In November 2005 BCee moved to Ibiza, Spain and launched Spearhead Records. The next two years saw him play all around the globe alongside the resident
Spearhead Records night at Caf Paradis, San Antonio, Ibiza.
Since returning to the UK in 2008, BCee has kept himself busy as CEO of Spearhead Records. His debut solo EP'Generations' was released in 2009 and in
2010 Spearhead Records released'5, Re:Mixed, Re:Wired, Re:Wound' mixed by BCee to celebrate 5 years of the labels success.
In 2011 BCee released his debut LP entitled'Beat The System' which quickly shot him into the DnB spotlight. This was followed up in 2012 with'Remix The System'
with the list of remixers reading like a who's who of DnB, including Marcus Intalex, Octane & DLR, Mutated Forms, Metrik, Technimatic, Logistics, Matrix and more.
BCee continues to build on his reputation for refined beats and alongside his regular releases on Spearhead Records has also been on remix duty for Jakwob, Stretch &
Vern, Seba, Hybrid Minds, Camo & Krooked and Ad-Apt
as well as featuring as guest presenter for Xtra Talent on the BBC Radio 1xtra Drum & Bass show throughout August 2013.
His second full length studio LP'Lost & Found' is available now on Spearhead Records and he also features on a track called'Take It Away' on the debut album from Hybrid Minds, 'Mountains'.
Not one to hang about for long, he's already in the final stages of his next EP with another full album panned for 2014.

Saturday 22nd March will see a very rare performance from Hosta, a man who describes himself as'a top geezer making Drum & Bass'. We would say he is one of the most promising upcoming Drum & Bass producers the scene has to offer. Already gaining support from the likes of London Elektricity, Technimatic, Fred V & Grafix and Hybrid Minds to name a few, a free release on Talkin Beatz and currently in talks with a few Major Drum & Bass labels, he is definitely one to watch. His live shows are seemlessly mixed and brimming with energy, so be sure to get down to the Exchange on the 22nd to catch his set.

The future certainly looks bright for Liquifyah's newest resident Hugh Hardie, with some big releases on the horizon and plenty going on in 2014. He's honed his craft over the past 5 years alongside running a regular Drum & Bass event in his hometown of Cambridge. His soulful Liquid style has gained support from some of Liquid's major players including London Elektricity, Etherwood and Logistics so it's no surprise that his next big release will be his debut on Hospital Records as part of their incoming'We Are 18' compilation. We're very happy to welcome him to the team and are very much looking forward to his first set at Liquifyah.

Modify Perspective is a 25 year old producer from Glastonbury UK, now based in Bristol, and is head honcho of Liquifyah
His mostly Liquid-driven productions have gained a decent amount of support form names big and small across the UK and parts of Europe, and he's had a good response online reaching over 250,000 people worldwide. His DJ shows are always full of energy, wether he's playing at prime time to a packed dance floor wanting it heavy, or more relaxed and intimate shows that require a deeper ambient Liquid vibe.
2014 is set to be a big year for Modify Perspective, with lots of bookings already and some releases on the way, including his long-awaited debut album. More details to follow.
