ACUA is a psych-pop/alternative band from Cologne.
After over 100 concerts and successful tours across Europe, Canada, the UK and Japan, as well as the release of two studio albums, Head Under Water and Is There More Past Or More Future, ACUA is currently preparing the release of their third album. Patrick (vocals, guitar), Caroline (drums), Maja (synthesizer), and Igor (bass) have built a remarkable reputation through their captivating, hypnotic live shows. With atmospheric guitars, driving drums, swirling synthesizers, and melodic basslines, ACUA has shared the stage as support act for artists such as FKJ, Darwin Deez, The Japanese House, Sam Evian, and OMNI. They have also performed at prominent festivals like Melt! Festival, Reeperbahn Festival, Canadian Music Week and Herzberg Festival. This fall they will release a new album and the first singles of it called “Now And Nothing” and „Fearing And Facing The World“ were just released, giving a taste of what's to come.
“If you put your head under water, everything gets quiet and you can hear nothing but yourself.”
Dequincey
Analogue synths, tape recorders, drum machines and VHS visuals is the world where the melodies of the ever evolving sound of Dequincey generates its melodies, throwing the listener in dreamy atmospheres and multifaceted emotions. Started in 2019 with the release of the debut album 'And so the gates unlocked', the project performed live as a full band until 2022. With a new artistic direction and a more minimal approach, the live performance has now taken an angle where music and visuals fuse in a darker journey. The musicians blend towards the back, leaving space to a truly immersive audio-visual experience.
McDowell & Westaway is an electronic indie rock band from Bristol.
M&W’s uplifting mix of electronic action and future rock n’ roll is made for the dance floor. Featuring Pete Westaway on synth and beats with guitar and vocals from Mark McDowell. On stage the group are joined by dancer Juliet adding shape shifting form to inspire the floor.
New album ‘Jump’ perfectly mirrors the dancefloor euphoria of their live performances with eight new cuts of bubbling indie rave.
