Seamus Fogarty released his debut full-length ‘God Damn You Mountain’ on cult Scottish label Fence Records (King Creosote, Jon Hopkins) in 2012. His most recent release, the Hee Haw EP, was released on Lost Map Records at the end of 2023 with the lead single ‘They Recognised Him’ receiving high praise from a range of DJs and personalities across BBC 6Music and beyond, from Huw Stephens to Gideon Coe to Cillian Murphy (‘just brilliant’)

In between he released two albums on Domino Records, 2017’s ‘The Curious Hand’ and ‘A Bag of Eyes’ (2020), both critically acclaimed for their unique fusion of traditional and electronic instrumentation, combined with a fresh & unusual approach to songwriting and production

He has toured extensively around the UK, Ireland & Europe and has also appeared at many notable festivals including the main stage of Green Man, Eurosonic, Latitude, Electric Picnic, Mosely Folk & Haldern Pop. He has appeared on Other Voices and recorded live sessions for Mark Radcliffe on on BBC Radio 2 and Cerys Matthews on BBC 6Music. He will be performing a series of shows throughout March & April 2025 to celebrate the vinyl reissue of God Damn You Mountain on Lost Map Records
