HAIRDYE are a 4-piece punk rock band from Newport, South Wales.
Formed in the late summer of 2024, they released their first single in April 2025 and have played loads of gigs and had lots of radio play on BBC Introducing thanks to Adam Walton and Steve Lamaq.
All aged 16-19, Rhys, Tom, Dakota and Penny-Laine are HAIRDYE and are influenced by a whole load of bands, including Hot Wax, Nirvana, Blink 182, Deftones, and Foo Fighters - as well as a proper splash of '90s Newport.
