--------

Montreal art rock three-piece BRAIDS weave organic and electronic elements together amidst a lyrical landscape that is intimate, explosive, and emotionally-immersive.

Made up of Standell-Preston, Austin Tufts, and Taylor Smith, the band have two Polaris Prize shortlist placements under their belts as well as a win for the 2016 Juno Award for Alternative Album of the Year. Their new album, ‘Shadow Offering’, is produced by Death Cab for Cutie’s Chris Walla and sees them build upon their effervescent, undeniable magnetism. It’s a luscious and expansive release that recounts pain, heartbreak, anger, but also lifts the heart towards hope with songs that bubble, sustain, dissolve, expand, and retract.
