Newcastle riff slingers and winners of Kerrang! Radios “the deal” 2023 Rituals are set on a collision course with chaos. The northern quartet backed by a glut of industry tastemakers and a savagely supportive fan base are set for their debut Download Festival perform alongside an extensive touring schedule through 2023.
Archives have assembled a sound that is monolithic, but also incredibly captivating whilst holding a meaning behind everything they do; pushing mental health awareness in many of their themes trying to keep that at the forefront of their purpose. Hailing from Northern Ireland and formed in 2020, the hefty quintet have worked diligently to achieve their aim of producing stout and fierce music, laced with boundless energy and memorable hooks. The band’s debut album 'Decay' & follow up single ‘Self Inflicted' have procured the support of a host of tastemakers including BBC Introducing with Alyx Holcombe on BBC Radio 1, Alex Baker at Kerrang! Radio as well as featuring the band via Kerrang.com, Powerplay Magazine, Devolution Magazine and ERB Magazine all covering the release.
Metalcore outfit BEARPIT released their debut EP, “Blacklist”, in 2017. Since then, they have performed alongside metal giants such as Blessthefall, Embodiment and Heart Of A Coward – not to mention supporting exciting up and coming UK acts such as Liquid State, Drip Fed Empire and Broken Jaw! Known for their hard hitting and nostalgic metalcore guitar riffs, live energy, melodic arrangements and heavy vocals, BEARPIT are now often referred to as the “TRIPLE BLEGH” band. Described by Kerrang! As “Bristol’s Parkway Drive”, they are continuing to make many heads bang! Now in 2023, with their new single ‘Cyclone’ on the horizon and turning heads, BEARPIT are truly back From the Ashes – redefined and more driven than ever before
