"All-ages matinee alert! Four helpings of hardcore ‘n’ more from the scalding Shitty Fu Sunday soup, with skull-drilling anarcho-deathrockers Sublux, Bratmobile-gone-screamo wunderkinds Steatopygous, Dyke Mother’s emerging experimental grunge and fresh crust bruisers Polluted Mind Decay. A gig held at Exchange on Sunday 8th March. The event starts at 13:15.

Shiitty Futures Presents

SUBLUX
Sublux from London are a five-piece synth punk band featuring members of many excellent bands; Skitter and Hellish Torment to name two – driven by their marginalised identities and where they intersect. Singer Linsey McFadden and synth player Lula Hoffmann are both wheelchair users, and disability rights/justice is perhaps the most prominent theme in the lyrics: it’s a decidedly under-referenced one in punk (or other genres for that matter).

STEATOPYGOUS
4 piece screamo/post hardcore from these Trowbridge teens.

DYKE MOTHER
Local Queer avant garde punk with a saxophone.
Think Penis Envy era Crass / Poison Girls.

POLLUTED MIND DECAY
New Anarcho crust from Devon featuring members of 51st State.
