A
gig
held at Exchange
on Sunday 8th March. The event starts at 13:15.
Shiitty Futures Presents
SUBLUX
Sublux from London are a five-piece synth punk band featuring members of many excellent bands; Skitter and Hellish Torment to name two – driven by their marginalised identities and where they intersect. Singer Linsey McFadden and synth player Lula Hoffmann are both wheelchair users, and disability rights/justice is perhaps the most prominent theme in the lyrics: it’s a decidedly under-referenced one in punk (or other genres for that matter). https://subluxpunk.bandcamp.com/album/disorder-in-the-machinery

Local Queer avant garde punk with a saxophone.
Think Penis Envy era Crass / Poison Girls.
POLLUTED MIND DECAY
