Get ready for a night of Adrenaline, Chaos and Noise! As three fresh new Rock Bands from across come and take over the Basement stage to showcase the excitment and talent that the region has to offer!
IDLE TONGUES:
Cornish Based IDLE TONGUES are here to create a fresh new wave of Modern Hard Rock. Channeling the angst of Paramore with the aggression and musical chops of Halestorm, IDLE TONGUES music will give you powerful Drums, blistering riffs and massive choruses.
IDLE TONGUES' music sits in between the Blues Rock revival of the 2010's and the stadium filling Post-Grunge acts of the 2000's. The band was formed by Natalie Allen (lead vocals/guitar), Tyler Harris (drums) and Will Keen (bass) sharing a mutual love for bands such as Royal Blood, Biffy Clyro and Muse. In late 2022, after building up a repertoire of hard rock covers, the group switched course and joined forces with Falmouth based guitarist Rhys Hurd, to create IDLE TONGUES.”
TERRAPINS:
Unapologetic, unstoppable, and unyielding, Cardiff’s Terrapins emerge as a sonic force, fearlessly defying musical boundaries and leaving their mark on the local music scene. Consisting of Izzy Warren (vocalist/guitarist), Mark Naylor (bassist) and Ryan James (drummer), the three have spent that last year cutting their teeth throughout South Wales, showcasing their concoction of nu-metal and grunge punk; a carefully constructed explosion of noise that will have your heart racing.
NOVA SCOTIA:
Cardiff based shoegaze inspired-heavy-noise-rock. With a strong 90s grunge influence, soaring vocals and lushous ambient soundscapes.
