The Royal They is a post-punk trio from Brooklyn, New York, that brings an irreverent, snarky edge to their own brand of fuzzed-out rock. Thunderous drumming, blistering guitars and Michelle Hutt’s ferociously angelic snarl form the backbone of their sophomore record, Foreign Being, a strong second statement from a band with due confidence in their craft.
Supported by solo sets from Bristol's own Broken Dreams Club (bedroom pop, indie bops and sad songs forever. Amy makes tuneful music with wryly observed lyrics on relationships, broken hearts and life in general) and Oxygen Thief (one man acoustic riff machine).
