Launch show for Standing Where You Stood, the new EP from indie rock duo ¡Ay Carmela!. The two track EP sees the band take a more live approach to recording to match the emotional directness of the songs, which look back at the past through the lens of an older, present self.

¡Ay Carmela! are based in Bristol and Swansea, and inspired by the likes of PJ Harvey, Nilüfer Yanya, and Warpaint. Their sound is rooted in 90s alternative rock, with intricate drum grooves, and lyrics that explore memory and change. Their latest EP, Standing Where You Stood, follows the release of their second album, Tokens, in 2023.
